First of all, thanks to Stacey Ferreira for giving me the chance to write on here!
As the blog post before says, I am Andrew Rauh, a freshman at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I am studying computer science engineering.
This week I will give insight into what happens around me, things I may be thinking, and perhaps even talking about happened to me over the course of the day.
To give a brief background of who I am, I was born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan, and I recently moved to Ann Arbor for school. During my sophomore year of high school I worked on a science fair project proving that ethanol could be cheaply and successfully produced from organic waste in your own backyard. I was lucky enough to advance all the way to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Reno, Nevada in 2009. I won third place overall in chemistry at the competition. Since then, I formed an iOS and web development company with a few friends in high school called Codevs. This past summer I worked with a startup called Detroit Labs, another iOS and Android Development company based in the heart of Downtown Detroit. I am now working part -time for Detroit Labs even during school.
I am very interested in technology, entrepreneurship, and just creating cool things with technology.
