  • Emma Baker

English Teacher/Writer/artist

Her interests are:

The sublime – it’s an unquantifiable concept and as such is a beautiful goal.
Art – colourful, lovely, intense, dramatic. My tastes change considerably but at the moment I am fascinated by the Italian baroque, especially the ceiling decorations in the Roman palaces. But then I also like Yves Klein.  Literature and writing literature, talking about literature, breathing literature. Reading dictionaries for the sheer gastronomy of beautiful words.

  • Malavika Suresh

I believe in living out loud. I believe in getting dressed and showing up to the rockfest that is your life, though, like most wonderful things, it took some time for me to get here.  In 2006 I was 16 and miserable and decided to turn my life around. I cultivated the habit of positive thinking and learned to love who I am and who I could be. I studied the way the universe worked and I finally made it work for me.

A denizen of Paris on his way to becoming a doctor (the other kind) through a PhD. Keen interests in photography, gadgets and current political issues across the globe. Having lived in Germany, after moving out of India and now living in France has given him a broader view of things and global issues.
